(FA) For AuctionLocal Auction announcements only for the dfw Area. Items available at an Auction, or Auction announcements. Links to Commercial Auction sites are not permitted. No Public Auctions shall be held in this newsgroup.
This had been hashed out during the charter discussion.
The charter plainly states that ``links to commercial auction sites are not permitted''. eBay is a commercial auction site. Therefore, postings pointing to listings on eBay are not permitted.
The For Auction tag is intended for use in announcing
estate auctions (and similar) in the Dallas/Ft Worth region.
