The National Kidney Foundation has set up a unique program to turn your unwanted heap into money for kidney research....Here's all you do:

1. Realize that the old clunker in your yard isn't worth beans as a trade-in.

B. Tell the raccoons to go find some other place to live.

III. Sign over the title and call an 800 number.

Before you know it, highly trained recycling specialists from the National Kidney Foundation will parachute in to the designated pickup coordinates, and your car will then be airlifted via a Sikorsky X-13 Air Freighter to the nearest wholesale dealers' auction, or, more likely, to a recycler. And the National Kidney Foundation will keep any money they can make off the sale.

YOU get rid of that old clunker FOR FREE--no towing charge, no disposal fee--and the National Kidney Foundation gets important funding in the process. And, oh--you get to smile on April 15, when you may get to write off that heap as a tax-deductible donation.

Look at it this way: It's a lot less painful and time consuming than donating a kidney.

For more info, we encourage you to head off to the NKF's home page, where you can get the number to call; you can also read their Top Ten List of Reasons to Donate Your Old Clunker!
